Senior Manager, Broker Experience

William “Bill” Handlan oversees Kistler Tiffany Benefits General Agency’s Broker Service Team, a highly talented, high-performing group of specialists who support broker partners and their clients with specific service issues.  

Prior to joining Kistler Tiffany Benefits in 2018, Bill held the position of Director of Broker Relations for Brown & Brown Consulting, where he was primarily responsible for business growth, identifying and developing new broker partner relationships.  

 After a four-year stint in the United States Army, in which he achieved the rank of captain, Bill began is insurance career with Prudential as a group representative in their Northeast group operations. He also spent several years working at Delta Dental and Reimbursement Services before eventually owning and operating his own agency in Moorestown, NJ. He sold his agency to Commerce Bank, spending 10 years with Commerce Insurance Services.  

Bill is an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the South Jersey Association of Health Underwriters.   

Outside of the office, Bill volunteers as a youth soccer and lacrosse coach. He was also past corporate recruitment chairman of the South Jersey chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

He received his bachelor’s degree in management from James Madison University.
