The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund fee is a fee on health insurers’ policies and plan sponsors of self-insured health plans that helps to fund the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).

PCORI fees are due for plan years ending in 2017 by July 31, 2018 (e.g., a January 1, 2017 plan year ended December 31, 2017, a February 1, 2016 plan year ended January 31, 2017, etc.).

2.)    Employers sponsoring a fully-insured health plan and a Flexible Spending Account
