New business submission deadlines through February 1, 2022, effective dates
We want to help you make sure you’re able to submit the correct documents on time. Here’s a reminder of submission deadlines for groups with effective dates through February 2022.
2022 Excellence Broker Program — strive for high performance
We value working together with you on our mission of keeping workforces healthy. In recognition of your support, we’re happy to offer the Excellence Broker Program. This program makes it easy for you to sell more and earn more.
As an Aetna® producer partner, you can earn credits by educating your clients and providing value-added services. These can help your clients improve the health and productivity of their workforces.
This program applies to both Aetna Funding AdvantageSM cases and 51–100 fully insured cases.
About the program:
- It applies to new and renewed business with effective dates January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022.
- It includes Aetna Funding Advantage cases with 2–100 eligible subscribers and 51-100 fully insured cases.
- New for 2022: Qualifying brokers are eligible for additional credits for dental or vision subscribers sold or renewed along with Aetna medical plans.

Aetna Funding Advantage
Member IDs are now available in Springboard
We heard your feedback. We want to keep making it easier to do business with us. You can now use Springboard to pull member IDs for existing groups. IDs for new members will be available three to five days after the member is added.
They are quick and easy to find:
- Log in to Springboard
- Navigate to a member
- Click on the “Benefits” tab to view the ID
Form 1095-B filing opt-out deadline extended
We are extending the deadline for plan sponsors with 2-50 eligible employees to opt out of having us file and distribute the forms on their behalf. Plan sponsors now have until November 30 to opt-out if they choose. See here for the plan sponsor letter for details.
