Governor Sherrill signed A5324/S4533 on Tuesday night (6/30) as part of the FY27 budget package. The state is calling it an “employer healthcare assistance assessment,” and it’s expected to raise roughly $145 million annually. If you have NJ clients with 50 or more employees, this one belongs on your radar now.
